Sarah Palin Divorce Rumor Is False

Multiple reports are coming in today that former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd Palin are divorcing. Former Alaska Governor and GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is firing back at internet reports that she and husband Todd are divorcing. A statement on Palin’s Facebook page says that after 21 years of marriage, the couple “remain married, committed to each other and their family.” Reports surfaced Saturday from the Web site AlaskaReport.com, claiming that several sources in the Palins’ hometown of Wasilla confirmed the couple would file for divorce.

Responding on Sarah Palin Facebook, Palin spokesperson Meg Stapleton categorically denied it.

“Yet again,” she wrote, “some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent ’story’ (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).

“Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to ‘quit making things up.’ We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.”
